Presenters:
Dr. Soheila Rostami is a graduate of the Howard University School of Medicine in Washington DC, where she was chief resident of ophthalmology. She completed her training for ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Maryland. Dr. Rostami holds her board certifications with the American Board of Ophthalmology (FAAO), the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery (ABFCS) and serves on the Board of Trustees with the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (ABCS). Dr. Rostami is the former Section Chief of Ophthalmology at Reston Hospital Center, Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at George Washington University, Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor at State University of New York, State College of Optometry and Assistant Professor at Howard University Hospital Ophthamology. She has received numerous awards over the years including Dean’s Honor Roll, Beta Kappa Chi Honor Society, Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, Dr. Charles I. West Award, Trustee Scholarship, Member of AOA Medical Honor Society Gamma Chapter, and peer-voted Northern Virginia Top Doc. Having performed thousands of cosmetic and medically necessary eyelid surgeries, Dr. Rostami is known as the surgical eye expert in northern Virginia and Washington, DC metro area. While Dr. Rostami is accomplished in lower facelifts, brow and forehead lifts, mid-face and SOOF lifts, eyelid surgeries remain a special interest.

Dr. Maryam Nazemzadeh is a graduate of the George Washington University in Washington, DC, where she was chief resident of ophthalmology. She completed her training in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Nazemzadeh holds her board certifications with the American Board of Ophthalmology (FAAO). She currently practices at Sanctuary Cosmetic Center, Rostami Oculo-facial Plastic Consultants, and Pediatric Specialists of Virginia where she sees a wide variety of patients, including both pediatric and adult patients. She treats congenital and acquired eyelid/orbital anomalies as well performs cosmetic procedures including injectable treatments such as Botox and fillers. Her surgical expertise involves rejuvenation of the upper and lower eyelids as well as the eyebrow. She has written several articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented her research around the world. She has received numerous awards including Dean’s Honor Roll, Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, Golden Key International Honour Society, and AOA Medical Honor Society. She has been voted as both Washingtonian and Northern Virginia Top Doc by her fellow peers.

Presentation:
The objective of this presentation is to educate the audience as to how to not only maintain youth, but to enhance it with both invasive and non-invasive techniques. The lecturers will outline the essentials of skincare and outline the ingredients that you should look for when purchasing quality skincare products. In addition, attendees will understand the role of neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin) in anti-aging. The lecturers will outline the types of dermal fillers and what makes you a good candidate for dermal fillers. Laser skin procedures will also be discussed, including non-ablative, ablative, and radiofrequency delivery systems. Finally, facial surgical procedures will be discussed as well as the ideal candidate for each type of surgery.
